(We do cheat occasionally for crossbrowser special effects in css that don't pass validation, but work flawlessly nonetheless. The validators have their quirks... The css for this site has errors - but they sure do make the scrollbars pretty in IE and the onmouseover layer transparency work cross-browser.)
